Amateur Radio promoted in European Parliament

An Amateur Radio 2009 Year Planner has been sent to all 785 Members of the European Parliament along with an introductory letter, co-signed by MEP Fernando Fernandez-Martin, EA8AK and IARU Region 1 EUROCOM Working Group chairman Gaston Bertels, ON4WF. The Year Planner was created by RSGB staff and highlights the use of amateur radio in Space and Emergency Communications, amongst other aspects of the hobby.
