Temporary Operating Restrictions between
28 June 2012 and 23 September 2012

Please click for Ofcom’s notice on temporary operating restrictions in the 70cm, 2.3 and 3.4GHz bands that are required to support the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

These apply to both UK amateurs and amateurs visiting the UK.

Mitigation measures for some repeaters as well as RAYNET talk-thru operations can be found on their respective websites at www.ukrepeater.net and www.raynet-uk.net

Special Olympics prefixes for UK amateurs

Following from a request by the RSGB, Ofcom have agreed to a Notice of Variation that can be applied for on-line by any UK licence holder.
