What is Radio Sport ?

It usually involves a competition to see who can contact the most stations in a set period of time on certain bands and within specific rules.

While contests often have similar objectives, each event has its own set of rules and kinds of information that you can exchange with the stations you contact during the contest.

Amateur radio direction finding (ARDF) is a timed race in which individual competitors use a map, compass and radio direction finding equipment to search woodland and other challenging environments for hidden radio transmitters.

The sport is governed by rules set down by the International Amateur Radio Union.
