Click here to see list of participating clubs for 2008As with previous years, the Radio Society of Great Britain is supporting the British Association for the Advancement of Science during Science & Engineering Week 2008. To build on the success of previous years, the RSGB would like our affiliated clubs to reach out and interest people in our hobby. We would like to appeal to you to organise an event locally, which will interest people outside the amateur community (if you are not already planning to do so). The RSGB is prepared to support your projects with professional leaflets, posters and presentations, however we in turn need your support to run the events.
A list of materials (pdf) is available to you if you are going to organise an event, which we would like returned by the 15th February so we can organise sending these materials to you in time for your event. The RSGB would also like to publicise your event in the pages of Radcom and our web-site, so please send us details of your event both before and after it takes place. This is an opportunity to build for the future of amateur radio whilst enhancing the hobby we currently enjoy and we shouldn't miss it. Amateur radio does need your help, so please help us make National Science & Engineering week a success and organise an event this year. click here to see Science Week reports for 2008 |

National Science & Engineering week is from 7-16 March and already many clubs and schools are planning what they will do. Clubs can organise anything from a simple talk at the club or school visit through to some of the huge events that were run last year.
