Under the watchful eye of John Gould G3WKL the RSGB HF Manager, the following developments are currently ongoing at HF:

Preparation of positions for the RSGB to take on Deliberate QRM, 136kHz and 7MHz band plans for the HF Committee meeting of the IARU Region 1 Conference, November 2008

The 5MHz Working Group is working with RSGB HQ and Ofcom to facilitate the issuing of NoVs for experiments at 5MHz.

|
5MHz Experiment: work is underway re-architecting the 5MHz database with a plan to provide it with online access. In addition a data clean-up task is underway and the initial work is started on the main analysis task.

|
PLT: a watchful eye is being kept on developments from Ofcom.
|
|
The gradual development of new digital modes, including digital audio, is being closely monitored, with its specific interest in band-planning.

|
Experimental Internet gateway facilities for emergency communication purposes
|
|
Support for the temporary commemorative / scientific studies beacon
|
|
Support given from the DXpedition Fund to various deserving DXpeditions. |
