LF

Whilst LF is traditionally used to describe 80 and 160m bands, in the strictest sense the title is used to describe the frequency spectrum between 30kHz to 300kHz.  The only UK amateur allocation within this part of the radio spectrum is the 136kHz band, which covers 135.7 to 137.8kHz.  Amateurs have secondary status to that of Maritime and Fixed Services on the band.
